Labertouche Free Range Farm / Moore Brown Eggs Region: Gippsland Markets: Boroondara Farmers' Market, Casey-Berwick Farmers' Market, Collingwood Childrens Farm Farmers' Market, Kingston Farmers' Market Moore Brown Free-Range Egg Farm is operated by the owners, Dianne & Ron Moore. It has a Baw Baw Shire Council permit to free range 1,400 hens on a 20 acre property. Following deregulation this farm was the first of the new environmentaly friendly applications to be approved by the Baw Baw Shire in 1995. The farm permit was issued only after an extensive review where sustainability type manure calculations, and practices were overviewed by AgVic and the EPA before approval. We are an independent direct supply farm with a Food Safety Plan using HACCP proceedures complying with the Shell Egg Code. As an inspected farm, our eggs are certified genuine free-range. We direct deliver to selected retailers and hospitality outlets in West Gippsland and  Melbourne Fresh Produce Farmers Markets.
